Upcoming Programs:

Teen Advisory Board Meeting– Friday November 10th 5:00-5:45 pm

Have a say in the library! We meet to discuss and create programs, review books and make a difference in the library.

Holiday Cookie Decorating Contest- Tuesday November 28th 6:00-7:30 pm

Work with a team to decorate some holiday cookies. Sign up is required-you can sign up as a team or an individual. All supplies will be provided.

Canvas Painting– Saturday December 2nd 3:00-4:00 pm

Come paint a cute snowman picture. Instruction provided. Sign up is required, $15 total with a $5 deposit at sign up.

Ugly Sweater Decorating-Saturday December 9th 10:00 am -2:00 pm

Get ready for all your holiday parties by decorating a sweater. We will provide decorations and some sweaters. Feel free to bring your own sweater or supplies.

Movie Nights:

Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children-Wednesday December 6th 6:00-8:00 pm

Teen Advisory Board-

Are you interested in reviewing and discussing new books? Are there library programs you’d be interested in organizing? Do you need community services hours? Teen Advisory Board is all of these and more. We’re looking for anyone interested in participating! Please contact Paige at waypb@henikalibrary.org.

Makerspace- Every Monday from 2:00-7:00 PM

Join us upstairs at the gaming table for the makerspace. Different items will be made available each week for patron use including but not limited to colorful duct tape, origami paper, re purposing supplies, Legos, decoupage supplies and more.

Coding Club-

Come hang out at the library and practice your coding skills. Each meeting will have a fun coding challenge. Work as a team or on your own to develop your coding skills.

Some library laptops are available but if you have your own device (laptop, ipad or smartphone) feel free to bring it.

Rabbit River Writers-

2nd Wednesday of each month 6:15-7:15 pm

The Rabbit River Writers Group is an adult writing group. Come and hone your skills and talk about writing. Be prepared to read your work. Ages 16+

College Information:

Free practice site for SAT preparation. Might be helpful since schools are now giving the SAT instead of the ACT
